I had a similar deal, I was a heavy mil copilot at the time I interviewed over a year ago and my flight time (or lack of it) was brought up in the interview. Granted I didn't have the "competitive" minimums at the time. Was not hired. Why invite us then?
PHC has been more picky the last few years then previously, and we've missed some good dudes as a result. Just flew with a guy with Mil time, lots of RJ, interviewed twice over 6 years and finally made it in the 3rd time. It stinks to miss out from phase 2 but they definitely are not reticent about giving second looks if you really want to be here. Best of luck going forward.
