ALPA operates with one goal in mind - To protect the pilot group. Sometimes that might not be apparent to all the pilots but you can be darn sure that the decision was not made by one ALPA rep. It was debated by the MEC and the decision was made. I can't say that I have agreed with ALPA all the time but one thing I do know is that they are looking after OUR best interest.
