I think the Springer's final moment here is that it all depends on what works best for you. They are both good companies. If you don't mind the commute out to the east coast and like what JB has to offer, stick around.
If you plan on staying in the Midwest and don't mind a potentially long upgrade, then southwest is probably your best bet.
I will tell you in 21 years if I made the right choice.
