Not to mention CCS. The plan long ago was to use the 320 for longer flights due to wanting to limit the number of cycles on the 320, along with better cargo carrying capacity than the 737. I'm actually surprised it's taken this long to get more 320s into IAH.

If I were an IAH 737 FO, I wouldn't bid IAH 320 FO. I'd rather take the bump to IAH 320 FO - like you said, no freeze. The only reason I can think of doing that is if you're very junior IAH 737 FO and want a bit more seniority in your base/equipment.
