The auto upload for the T/O data only works about 50% of the time on the 777, and that's in the ATL. In some of our outstations on the other side of the planet; less than 50% of the time.

And you are right about the complacency, that's the problem with 'too much' automation. When it stops working, you either don't catch it right away, or worse, you've forgotten how to do it manually!
