Personally, I hate it that they even ask for notes as if we are grade school kids. I know I never go to the doctor for the flu. The last thing I want to do when I have the flu is get out of bed and wait at the doctor's office just for him to tell me I have the flu and to rest and drink lots of fluids. We have sick time. If people use it for other things, then it's on them when they really do get sick have no sick time left to be paid when they have to stay home.
