Correctamundo,
I have compared W-2s with 2 buddies at different regionals and the numbers are very close when adjusted for block/credit differences. Add the lack of CBA protection and the Dixie College dropout effect into the scheduling equation and SKYW work rules tip it in the wrong direction. For the complainer commenters , who are 4th year experts,
I will say, hmmmmn, why do you think guys who are making over 100k complaining? No amount of money will make your QOL good when you are working 19+ days a month. I am glad you are in a sweet spot, because I wouldn't wish my schedule on anyone. AOS is the problem it starts at the top and does bids, and then it starts at the top again and back fills from the top down again, 4 day trips with a stand up sidecar is almost as good as a 4 day with with a 2 day trailer, with just enough time to go home and change out the skivvies.
Yes my schedule was far better when I was bidding 50% as I ascended the list my schedule deteriorated correspondingly. Since the senior guys bid over to the ERJ the suck is increasing monthly. Enjoy your life while you can this summer is going to be epic in a bad way,
