So if you don't have an internal, why apply?

Regardless, there's a computer program that weeds through all the applications looking for triggers, maybe not on based on "points", but I'm sure there's not 20 monkeys in a room looking through 12,000 apps just to see which one has an internal. I know all apps do have human eyes on it before an invite is sent, but it's unrealistic to think all 12,000 apps are read by AK (or the hiring team) every time those apps are updated. If i recall there were 3 things that would get your app looked at with human eyes. As stated, the internal is one. There were others but I don't remember what they were (nor do I think AK would appreciate it being written here).

Call it what you want- points, rack and stack, etc, but there's a computer program involved and if your app doesn't trigger the proper electrons, your app won't get eyes on.
