Until I see attrition jump significantly, or until I see them consistently hiring 11 out of 12 interviewees, I'm not thinking they're having trouble finding quality candidates.
They will only raise pay when they are absolutely forced to under section 6 negotiations, after dragging it out as long as functionally possible. Hopefully the economy is good in those days!
Oh, and hopefully we don't trade work-rules for shiny rates.
I agree completely. The company will drag their feet as long as possible giving pay raises..why wouldn't they? And I also agree that it does not seem the company is having any trouble finding qualified pilots. They are still being selective and picky in their hiring.
