That they are - for now.

The training contract is a real thing and should come to be in the next few months, although it will have the opposite effect Frontier hopes for. Even if you sign it and quit during the term, you'll be leaving for a job that will pay off the contract in the first year.

In March we had 5 pilots quit. 4 were just off OE. A training contract for a job with industry lagging pay will either inspire a lot of dreamers, misfits and pilots just passing through or simply chase away pilots with other options a.k.a. adverse selection. I don't think there are enough dreamers to keep the first few years of the seniority list full. Indigo may get it when they watch low time 320 PICs walking out the door during our "growth spurt."
