You're better off banging your head against a brick wall. I've been trying to drive the point home that the MEC chair/vice chair are only administrative positions for years on here, yet people still think the chair sets policy.
As a side note, is JA resigning as status rep, or doing both jobs? If he is trying to do both, that will nullify some of the strategy behind the MEC structure. The vice/chair positions are supposed to be the buffer between the decision makers (status reps) and management.
I'm sure the position as MEC Chair is temporary. To hold it would only handicap his roll as the message deliverer to the company.
Good ridden to Sean Creed but that was sure a childish move quitting like that.
There sure is a lot of cancer that needs to be cut out but it will take time. I sure am not in a rush to sign a contract this summer. I predict Matias will be the first comittee Chair to see his world crumbling, lose his mind and resign. That too is best for us all.
