If they can get us to pay for our next raises, like we did in C12K, by making negative changes to our profit sharing, they will also make those changes company wide, i.e. all the Non-Contract people will lose out as well.

No question that's why the company wants speed. But our "union" desperately wants it too. When Donatelli puts out talking points like this, it's as close to truthful and direct communication as he ever gets. He's trying to shape opinion on the importance of speed and saying yes...despite the fact that neither of those items ranked in the pilot surveys. Why would our "union" behave this way? The answer is because there's no difference between them. If the company has a priority, it becomes our "union's" priority. The only thing that remains is to shape opinion in an attempt to make it look like the pilot's will was considered.
