I'll gladly clarify my statement to make it more truthful in your eyes, but it is happening.
4/1 ORD-DTW Standup was in red for 36 hours before cancelling because CA had family issues. Flight had to cancel because we had no reserve CA.
4/10 ORD-ATL Standup cancelled. No CA and no reserves available.
4/15 ORD-ATL Standup cancelled. Same as above.
4/17 ORD-DTW Standup. Same as above.
So four flights for the month in the area where the company is growing the most. There were more EMB flights cancelled than that in one day before the drawdown started.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen. But not nearly on the scale as your first post was meant to imply. Could it happen more? Sure. Will it happen more? Most likely.
