The typical class loses 1 guy fairly early on when he/she realizes that this is not something that they want. Another 2-3 people leave for other jobs (LCC's, 121 cargo, etc...). As far as people truly failing out, the typical class has maybe 1 person.
Of the 35 in my class, I think 7 or so didn't make it to OE for various reasons. One left for XJT, the others just didn't make it.
