I don’t see it as a negative. If we disagree that’s fine. Because what we have done is perfectly legal and within our rights. However it’s viewed by management is their problem. I see our primary audience as the other stakeholders; the FAA, the investors and the public. Our overlords in the FAA are garden-variety political bureaucrats, sensitive to public scrutiny and sentiment.
By simply standing in unison, poker faced in partial uniform as one; or even the threat of doing so, makes a lot of folks nervous. Reference a current ugly event, nobody would like to mention. And you have a lot of weak-kneed faa types trying to get ahead of the next disaster.
