There is a bid screen in iCrew where you put your preferences. You can request days ON in blocks of 2,3,4,5 and 6. Seventeen events a month, some can be doubles (which are hard on the body!) The schedulers really work with you if you're a commuter. Everyone wants something different, so it usually works out. After you get a look at the mid month preliminary, so can request events to be moved, and they will if they can. After the final has come out, you can request trades with other instructors.
Vacation Bidding and fly months are in seniority order, but again, everyone has different needs, so it works out.
