I do volunteer work at the VA, so it was easy listing it like a job. I put the volunteer coordinator as the supervisor with phone number and address. The VA gives us a badge and title of Regular Service Volunteer, so that I what I used as a title.

For your church activities, I'd put the name of the church, phone number, and whomever is in charge of organizing activities, such those, as the supervisor. Generic beginning date to present, then be descriptive using words for computers to find and score that tell them some of the things that you do. For your coaching work, if it is for the city/school/youth group, list those as your employer and a coordinators name as a supervisor. Again, be descriptive.

From what little perspective I had during the interview, I don't know that more "volunteering" is better, but they do like to see guys doing something for the community. Be humble about it. I don't think they want guys wearing servitude on their sleeve or trying to collect "likes", but they need something to separate the 3000 hour military pilots apart, or the 8000 hour PART121 pilots apart.

Good luck!
