I will take a different bit of that bait. How was recalling furloughs "out of seniority". New hires should come first? Until the SLI, they bid new hire seniority numbers for PBS. I think they could argue that they got screwed, but it was they that accepted "new" job at CAL. They knew the deal when they signed up for it.
I don't remember DEN or ORD LEC's trying to negotiate a carve out when their pilots were displaced.
