Usual company propaganda. This was not a resumption of regular negotiations. The NMB doesn't halt negotiations for months, than schedule a 2 day exploratory meeting with senior NMB staff members in DC to just 'resume negotiations'. Had that been the case, the mediator would have simply met with both parties, as usual. This meeting was intended for both sides to show their hand to determine whether the proffer IBT requested was to be granted. After yesterday's typical display by the company, I would guess that discussion may still be ongoing at the NMB. Sooner than later, like every other entity, they too will come to terms with this company's tactics.
