None of your predictions have proven true thus far for them.
Everyone knew the extension was contractually available to AWAC, and I don't think anyone thought they'd turn it down.
Hell even Parker stated last January that AWAC would use the extension.
Two years doesn't really buy into much of the pilot shortage situation though. 2018-2019 is where it starts ramping up.
Every time I see that "50 years of stability" banner I laugh. What a joke. AWAC was started in 1993 after Air Wisconsin furloughed hundreds for several years when UAL bought their routes. Some of the most senior guys on property were door to door salesmen in that time frame because they were out of a job. Apparently they didn't learn from that.
