Say you are down in Lima on a layover...you break an ankle or worse. You go to the doctor...at check in they say we don't take BlueCross but we do take cash...3000$ plz. What if the procedure was 10K or who knows. It's happened and it scary thinking about the what ifs. Most of us ignore it but when this happens to someone you know it really opens your eyes. There should be a forum just on this topic with all Carriers.
