I mean how can you say this is win-win? AA by there own doing would make it more difficult to staff they're regional flying, and would now being paying you mainline rates when they would otherwise being paying you regional ones. Rates which, they pressured you with closing and then dropped the flow carrot in your face, just to secure. So now they're just say "eh screw it we'll see you all on Monday at class"??????

lol k
Yes that's pretty much it. Even when we were short on Captain guess what?? 3 had to go. Our union made sure we had some protection after looking at the PSA deal. Many believe that many future classes will consist of WO pilots only and this will be AAG's carrot to get people. One American pilot pretty much said it will be tough as hell in the future to work for American unless you're military prior or come up through one of the WO's with the flow.

Parker isn't a dummy and I think as the pilot shortage gets worse you'll see this as a mean to pull pilots from other carriers. There's already tons of pilots leaving and going to PSA. If PDT can't staff I'm sure they will hire Street Captains in the ERJ's.

Grab your popcorn should be fun.
