Exactly. Sometimes you gotta spend money to make money and this is one of those times you do NOT want to go "pilot style" cheap.

We're currently working on getting full hotels paid for in the upcoming contract. There's a pretty good chance it will happen IMHO, I'm in favor of it and its the right thing to do. But if you are fortunate enough to get hired sooner with more seniority as a result, that alone will financially be worth orders of magnitude more than the paltry career long cost of a couple weeks hotel on the front end. Don't even factor where you go to initial training into your decision making process its not worth it.
