I mean they literally need your support. They need to hear your wants and contract opinions. There are many times over the years when I heard from reps after the action was over, "We never had the membership behind us to push things." If people are quiet they do not exist. "We didn't have the support for a strike." was another quote I heard before. That's why we compromise for what we do. If there is a loud voice, something with spine behind "heightened expectations" then we will get more. If people are wallflowers they'll get what they deserve.

They need your support and need to hear from you. I mean that as plainly as I can say it.
