With the exception of #2, I've been doing all of that since I was a new hire, 29.5 years ago. The only reason I don't make any LEC meetings now is, my base was closed, I have to commute, and unless I fly up the night before, and get a motel, by the time I get there (IF I can even get there) the meetings will be over.
When I lived in my base (BOS) I did attend every LEC meeting I was off for, and I was on the No B Scale Committee. And we got rid of it, but not by "Proactive Appeasement".

In 1996, I was on the Strike Committee. In 2000, I was a Family Awareness guy, in 2004, PBS Committee, and today I'm on the International Flying Committee, and P2P. The pilots I talk to are getting pretty sick of Proactive Appeasement.
