Not necessarily true. Applied in last window, exceed all qualifications, no accidents/incidents, current CA with 9 years 121, references, volunteer work, live out west, non smoker.. etc etc.. Got a no thanks email 2 weeks after applying for no good reason. Wasn't really expecting that talking with people far less qualified that got hired. Thought I'd at least stay in the application process. Oh well..

Something on your App flagged the thanks but no thanks. There is no way with internals, exceeding the mins and no deep dark secrets you would get a thanks but no thanks. Maybe you selected yes on a question and didn't realize you did it.? Everyone I know in your position just doesn't hear anything and continues to reapply or gets a call.
