Is new bern NC more OF A junior or senior base? That base would be the closest from Charlotte where I would have to make a transfer to commute. Wondering if I could bid if I was offered a different base.

Also 3-5 year flow for new hires. Can anyone actually verify that?
I have read the actual contract stating that the flow will be the lesser of 25% of AA class or 3 times the number of months AA actually hires (additional 1 for every 125 pilots hired at Piedmont). I would like to know, given the number of pilots + 20 new RJs coming to Piedmont and assuming that Piedmont hires 10 pilots per plane, how the flow will only be in 3-5 years for new hires? I think even after acquiring the jets, the flow multiplier would only increase by 1 - 2?
Seems like it would take add couple more years to that 3-5 yr statement.
You could probably get New Bern out of training...however as we add 1-2 hub based for the jets, smaller bases like New Bern or Charlottesville may go away. The 5 year flow probably assumes we add 250 or so new pilots...increasing flow to 5 per month. Those numbers work if we are able to find that many pilots (very shallow pool available) and AA keeps hiring (anything could happen). I believe it is as advertised, but would assume 5-7 years from today for flow. In the meanwhile you will upgrade relatively quickly and have the option to apply elsewhere If you want.
