I don't know that airbii are the cure. I've been in Rome and Munich where we needed engine changes (76er) and got the engines from Alitalia and Lufthansa within hours. Of course the original flts were cancelled for 12-14 hrs. But, I think the 764 is one of those oddball orphan fleets where almost everything has to be ordered.

In the orphaned regard, something common would help.
