So long as there is an open bid, which based on delivery schedule alone would suggest that there will be many more to come, a bypassing FO can upgrade. Again, are you saying that PSA will be able to staff the upcoming aircrafts or not? Even regionals with no growth are upgrading due to attrition so why do you think the movement would stop here to the extent that the entire FO corps would be stuck? Is it not safe to estimate that some upgrade bids would still be published? No one seems stuck to me, because staffing and attrition are continuous and dynamic.
The majority of Your FOs don't meet upgrade qualifications. Don't you read your own company bulletins?
If your MEC didn't think this was a problem, then why are they now trying to steal pilots (transfer) after they stole planes too? Stealing planes wasn't bad enough, they now want to demand the pilots come with the planes.
You do the math why they're pushing that, but not making it public.
