The most junior B737 captains just awarded were hired in November/December of 2014. One was a B737 FO. The other was a B777 FO for those interested in quick upgrades.
Apart from the three letters of recommendation you need to upgrade, the GOM also requires either 2500 TT
and 1000 PIC in "Large Group II Transport Category aircraft (turbojets above 41,000 lb), or 1500 SIC in Large Group II Transport Category aircraft (turbojets above 41,000 lb)
and 500 hours company time .
If you come here looking for a quick upgrade, make sure you have the prerequisite experience. You will only log about 500 hours a year on the Guppy.
