Why would you do something if you don't enjoy it? You aren't being foced to do it as part of a job for instance.
It sounds like you are confusing 'being a pilot' with a 'career as a pilot'.
These two are not the same.
Finish your PPL (if you are enjoying yourself) and start an instrument rating. It will be good training in any case and a requirement if you decide to pursue a career in aviation. If through this process you find yourself having second thoughts then you have a skill set that you can put to use as a hobby, but you haven't wasted any large investment into a career that deamnds a lot for no guarantee of whatever your version of success you might hold.
