Going from DFW to Stuttgart late fall. I'm looking at DFW-LHR-STR or DFW-FRK and then a train/bus to Stuttgart. I'd rather fly the entire thing because I have zero clue about where I'm going and would feel more comfortable.

Has anyone non-rev'd on BA while in Europe? Is it a PITA? Also, do you have to pay the fee's associated w/LHR even if you're just transiting through?
