Why wouldn't a new guy on the US side like going to the 190 with an upgrade possibly so quick. It's more the money question really, because I couldn't care less about moving over to the left seat. At least not right now. Seems like 130ish pay isn't so bad and movement up in seniority seems fast if you can move over to the left seat so quick. Holding a line quick?...
Again, naive new guy here just trying to learn the business so let the spears fly…looks like there is a high probability of going US in the next few classes so i'm trying to school myself up.

The flip side is that a third year FO on a Group 2 aircraft (Airbus, 737, 80) will make about the same as that 190 CA, while arguably flying a better schedule.
