Oh boy, aviatorhi please re-read my posts. I DO NOT hold any grudge about Lynden at all. The post is that it is in fact dangerous and hard work that is all. The incident(s) were proof that you wanted. You could not find it, I did. So good luck on your job hunt but I have just, as most do on this site, provided a perspective to flying for these kinds of companies in those, less than desirable, parts of the world. Sign up to climbto350.com. Tons of jobs with 4/4 type of work. Most is Africa/Overseas (China) stuff.

Have you every been to Africa, Indonesia, New Guinea? Ever been shot at, taken hostage? Read about how some of the herc crews have fared in the Dark Continent. Many herc crews have um, died in Africa.
It's dangerous and hard work. The pay is very low and they furlough and recall all the time. Reminds me of the old supplementals in the 80s, Transamerica to be exact. Two herc crews were taken hostage in Africa. One or two died.
