Can one of you hat-deniers explain your hatred of the hat? I'm not sure I'll ever really understand, but I'm ready to listen. Is it a hair thing? Toupee interference? Heat? Power struggle? I'm embarrassed for you guys, but recognize you're probably embarrassed for me wearing mine.
I'll start off by saying that I wear my hat. Not because I like it but because it's part of the uniform and if someone called me on it I would know that I was wrong and I really don't like that.
What I would like to point out is that some of the guys that roam the concourses in ATL (affectionately known as the hat Nazi's) get so fixated on the hat that they don't realize that they are out of compliance of the same section of the FOM (CH11) but it's ok because they are wearing their hat. You have to look no farther than this months CQ disc to see an example of this.
