Every 2-8 year Envoy CRJ FO would be a captain at PSA. Let the unions figure out the particulars of how benefits and such would work. "Flow" 10 pilots over per plane into an upgrade class each month. Envoy keeps its staffing high, PSA gets the glut of captains it needs. Then in a few years when AA decides to re-shuffle the deck again... move pilots right back over to PDT or wherever, with their seniority. Slowly ends the whipsaw game.

This would be about as close to a "National Seniority List," that so many guys dream about, you can get.

Also to think this isn't going to be essentially whats going on, minus the longevity, is crazy. I know lots of 1-3 year FOs at envoy who are on the fence about going over to PSA. Street captains might be the last little push they need.

Again, this won't gain any traction, but maybe be a little slow to get ****ed about all this stuff. It could have potentially been a good thing for the industry.
