That's what I do when I sit on the 757 jumpseat. No biggie.
Normally when I'm up there I'm just happy I'm not on jumpseat for the next flight which is normally a -88.
I've had several captains tell me they are sorry they didn't have a seat for me in the back and apologize for sticking me in the JS. I always let them know I appreciate the ride and that no matter how uncomfortable the JS, it's always better than the best seat in the terminal.
