Not trying to be snarky, but you seemed to have 10K for that PFT outfit. 10K gets you CFI-MEI at ATP. There are a TON of folks fighting for those 500 or less jobs. Why possibly tank your career (hiring boards that frown on PFT). If you still can't find a job before you reach 500, re-consider that CFI. I made 1K cash instructing over the past 2 weeks and that's on top of my normal flyin' gig. Several of my students hesitated getting that CFI, but none regretted it. It helped me keep food on the table while furloughed.
