You would, because you are clueless. Don't worry, you will learn soon enough how it all works. People who have been through displacements at other airlines have tried over and over to get through to you but you are just clueless. That is the PSA motto.

Oh, and you think reduction in flying is something distant from PSA? Ha! You are hopeless, but here we go again: Just last year PSA was reducing block hours. Back then PSA was small enough that it didn't cause any displacements...but a similar reduction in block hours today would be a different story. Learn from history. Ask pilots who were at TSA and Gojets between 2005-2008 time frame how it works. Ask them how many Captains got bumped back to the Right Seat during that time frame...and they weren't upgrading FO's out of seniority order the way PSA is doing....you have a storm brewing and are just too blind/ignorant to notice. Hopefully prospective newhires will listen to those of us who have been in this industry for over a decade and not make the mistake you did.
I made a mistake? Thanks for filling me in on my own life....

I specifically quoted contract sections that dealt with elimination of positions with transfers of flying away from a base.......Displacements. Just because the word "vacancy" is there doesn't mean it is referring to vacancy bids. I posted nothing about vacancy bids.

Read it again, try to pull from your entire decade of experience, because apparently that's a lot.

You are so blinded by your hate for PSA that you insult me personally even when I make a post about negative things at PSA.
