So many posts to respond to. I wrote a book with like 10 quotes but decided it was way too long. I think I've heard enough to determine NYC is off the list. I was pretty sure it wasn't ever on the list in the 1st place but I wasn't terribly smart on it and didn't want to just dismiss it without putting zero thought whatsoever into the domicile. I think I would really like SEA but I'd be gone almost half the time and my wife has expressed a strong dislike of the constant drizzle up there for much of the year.

My biggest beef with ATL is the heat and humidity. Probably going to live on the south side which means our school options are fairly limited, private school is not an option. North side is nice, but not nice enough to counter the traffic of the north side. Also looking at Chattanooga -- perhaps a little risky sitting SC up there, a 2+ hour drive and still have to deal with the north side traffic, and lose the option of working at the training center but gain the benefits of no state tax and a cooler and less humid home.
