Curious which hotel you stayed in last night? I travel a lot and insist the company (true, I don't work for an airline and hotels know I'm a lawyer) put me in a room on the higher floors, away from the pool and not in the family section. I was in a Red Lion last week. Something minor happened, but I complained anyway. Couldn't believe the service I got. Just about everyone sprung into action! (It could be they didn't want other guests to see me in my worn jammies standing in the front lobby. Bad for business.

).
I like the electrocution idea. Going to try it next time just for fun.
Just remember, you only hurt yourself if you get mad.
