At PSA, it's 2005 hires going to AA right now. It will probably get down to the 2006 hires by years end.
PSA flows 48 a year. Somebody hired now may expect to INTERVIEW in 20 years. That is from your own people at a recent AA Town Hall meeting.
There was no mainline or legacy hiring for almost a decade after 9-11.
At Envoy, since the flow started back up in 2010 those 1999 DOH guys only waited 5 years to flow. We also have several years were there were no new hires, and a few more years where we hired only a small batch and just a few dozen remain. New hires at Envoy today may expect that if the company's plan continues they'll flow in under 6 years. No interview, just fill out the paperwork and go to class. They already interviewed for AA when Envoy hired them. It's why we still reject a high percentage of applicants. 50% of all new hires come from Envoy. Our guys have already been hired at AA, and are essentially just flying here while awaiting their class date in less than six years.
It's the best flow in the industry; and since yesterday we also now have the best commuter and hotels policy in the industry.
