A 'bad" deal will be defined by the collective. To an uber senior guy, bottom end scope is not as important. Shocking I know, and many will not admit that any more than newbies will say that retirement funding is the most important. It's true. Sorry, but it is. Somewhere in the middle of all this mess, a deal will be struck and the group will accept it. Because it doesn't meet some's expectations of historic or earth shattering or whatever, doesn't mean it is a ad deal. I guess when all is said and done it is very similar to a SLI in a merger. If every is pizzed off, it is a good deal.
