You can check in for your NRSA listing as well as hold the reservation for the JS. Just don't wait more than 15 minutes before departure to grab your JS, or it is subject to be released.
While the system will let you do it that way, the company has put out periodic memos that it is not allowed. If someone points out to the duty pilot that you have both the Jumpseat and an NR reservation on the same flight, they will cancel the Jumpseat res and you can expect to get a call crom the CPO about it. Not something a probie wants or needs.
