There is no official ban on F9 hiring RAH pilots. But unfortunately there must still be some hesitation to do so, as I haven't heard of any being hired lately. This is too bad as I know several that I highly respect and like that would truly like to work at Frontier.

Perhaps it is just an abundance of caution or perhaps there is more.

The IBT (RAH pilots) has recently hired an Indianapolis law firm to sue the Frontier pilots for past dues that they claim they are owned. A random dollar figure (no invoice or accounting history) was provided to hundreds of F9 pilots. Legal action and credit reporting have been threatened if F9 pilots don't pay.

Also, the integrated IMSL list (with Frontier pilots included) is still maintained by the IBT (RAH pilots) as part of their contract.

Well guess what? Frontier pilots are a big part of the hiring process of new pilots at F9. RAH pilots should not be surprised that there exists a reluctance of Frontier pilots to hire people that they are in the process of being sued by.

Also, as long as the IBT is maintaining the IMSL with F9 pilots included, there exists the possibility of future legal action by the IBT or RAH pilots demanding that spot on the Frontier pilot seniority list.

The IBT (RAH pilots) has a long history of bringing legal action against the Frontier pilots.

If you were a Frontier pilot and part of the hiring process, would you be willing to gamble on hiring RAH pilots and the possible future litigation that could come with that?

What can RAH pilots do today that would improve their chances of future employment at Frontier? They can contact their IBT union reps and demand that the IBT stop it's harassment of the F9 pilot group. They can demand of their union reps that the IMSL with F9 pilots included be removed from the contract that is currently being negotiated with RAH.

It's that simple.
