Why would we make scope concessions in this environment?
There are still 138 CRJ-200s they'd probably like to get rid of. Probably both in just getting rid of the airframes and excess capacity.
138 CR2s is about 6900 seats and those seats are not in use as much as the CR9s if I'm not mistaken. 6900 seats is around 90 CR9s. Use 70 CR9s and you'll probably have as much ASMs in a given day as you did with 138 CR2s.
Shooting from the hip. But it's a guess. The keys to getting more CR9s is in the PWA.
I'd say, let them have 70 more CR9s/E175s in the PWA.
As long as we fly them.
