There have been a lot of new posters on here lately, and up until recently, they all dovetailed far more into the "early rejection" side than the "early acceptance" camp. From my viewpoint, there has been a ton of deliberate, premature commentary designed specifically to set up some reps to look like heroes, others to look like villains. We can do a little post hunting if you want examples. It's all political stuff. It's all borderline obscene, embarrassing, and certainly quite expensive to all of us.

What I'm interested in, is that the process is followed, the pilots get to make the call, and we don't step on our own cranks at the negotiating table over political infighting. The MEC/NC need to be allowed to deliver the best product they possibly can, then we must judge the results in a critical and deliberate manner. I think that's what we should focus on.
So to be clear you would find it offensive and unacceptable if the pro side had all its minions calling and harassing the swing vote reps with statements like:

The economy is going to collapse in 18 months.

And Delta is going to have to pay taxes when the NOLs run out.

Nevermind that the economy is just warming up and the best economists in the world see steady growth.

Nevermind management has a plan to offshore to mitiage taxes.

Same stuff, different day.

If it's a good deal, why threaten and swear at reps?

A handful of company kool aid drinkers control this union.

Will the pilots fall for another C2012 or will they take a stand and remove them all??
