138 CR2s is about 6900 seats and those seats are not in use as much as the CR9s if I'm not mistaken. 6900 seats is around 90 CR9s. Use 70 CR9s and you'll probably have as much ASMs in a given day as you did with 138 CR2s.

Shooting from the hip. But it's a guess. The keys to getting more CR9s is in the PWA.

I'd say, let them have 70 more CR9s/E175s in the PWA.

Here is a potential fly in the ointment. TIFWIW With the hiring that is currently going on, we will be training right seat RJ pilots who will have bids off the equipment before they finish indoc. The captain pay is similar to 7ERB, and we have newhires getting international lines before being TOE complete. This would be expensive to the company, and puts newhires on the chopping block since they are on probation and switching airpanes is a risky venture. In today environment, I am not so sure RJs are worth negotiating for. I personally think the rumor is a throw away.
