I'm not sure how RJ captain pay vs 7ERB pay is relevant to the scope issue.
The point about newhires on the chopping block by switching airplanes during probation doesn't make any sense. All new hires should be off probation at the same time they complete their new hire training freeze. If they do successfully bid to a new category while still on probation and don't make it through training, it was their individual risk to take. Bid what you want...
