The recent change is moving the administration of the program to an outside firm vs it being handled in house. The in house person apparently had a reputation for screwing it up pretty frequently.

Now, the outside firm is a division of Ford & Harrison, which is a labor law firm that has the reputation of being the boogeyman, but at the same time one now gets to deal with someone with a certain mount of intelligence, rather than just some random desk jockey.

All that said, I think it's safe to say that the jury is still out on how it's going to work out.
I gotcha...

Now, I know they have to give you the unpaid time, but do they let you take your sick time or anything like that?

My current job lets me take 20 of my sick days toward the birth of a child, then you have to get into your vacation. Just curious if PSA does anything like that, on top of their normal requirements of FMLA.
